Straw micro-feed storage precautions

1, straw micro-storage, generally need to store 7 to 10 days in the pit to get fed, winter takes longer.

2, picking material from the beginning of the corner, from top to bottom layer by layer access, avoid digging pits.

3, each withdrawal should be fed on the same day as appropriate. Micro-storage beef and sheep diets are basically the same as feeding silage, and no major adjustments are required. Generally, the amount of micro-feeds per head (only) per day is: cows, bred cattle, beef 15–20 kg, goats 1–3 kg, horses, donkeys, and quail 5–10 kg.

4. Seal the mouth immediately after each withdrawal so as to prevent deterioration of the micro-reservoir due to rain immersion.

5. The tank is required to be cleaned in each feeding of micro-feeds, and the micro-enclosed feed frozen in winter should be reused.

6, moldy crop stalks, not suitable for making micro-feeds.

7. Salt is added to the micro-reservoir during production. This portion of salt should be deducted from the diet fed to livestock.
