When the tractor suddenly increases suddenly during driving, slamming down the throttle or slamming the throttle after a shift, the automatic shifting of the shift lever to neutral may sometimes occur. 1. Inspect the locking mechanism of the gearbox and check that the lock spring is broken, failed, or weakened. 2. Check the meshing of the gears and the fork.
(1) A wedge shape is formed after the gear tooth wear surface is worn. When the tractor is working, especially in the case of heavy loads, it generates a large axial force. When the axial force is greater than the locking force of the locking spring, the meshing gear disengages itself and causes a jump. If the gear teeth work surface is seriously worn, they should be replaced or adjusted in pairs.
(2) If the fork fixing screw is loosened or cut off, the sliding gear is displaced axially, and the gear cannot be meshed with each other, which can also cause skipping. The solution is to fasten or replace the set screw and fix the fork in its original position on the fork shaft.
(3) When the wear of the fork foot is large or the fork is seriously deformed, the axial gear movement of the sliding gear will increase, and the sliding gear will produce an axial displacement to cause a gear shift. Fork shaft deformation is serious, should be cold pressure correction. When the fork leg wears and the clearance between the fork and the gear fork ring groove exceeds 1 mm, the side of the fork leg should be welded and repaired by a fitter. This clearance is maintained within 0.5-1 mm.
In addition, for a tractor without a linkage locking mechanism, if the shift lever is not pushed to the bottom when the gear is engaged, the positioning pin cannot fall into the V-shaped groove on the fork shaft, so that the gear cannot be fully meshed and the fork shaft floats. The gear will produce axial thrust during operation, and the positioning pin can not position it so that the meshing gear can cause the jump gear to cause a jump. Therefore, when the gear is engaged, the transmission lever must be pushed to the bottom.
