First, thermal insulation and ventilation
In winter, the weather is cold. At the same time, keep in mind the ventilation and the thieves' wind. The broilers raised on the ground shall be filled with dunnage, beddings shall be changed frequently, and ventilation shall be conducted at noon. Pay attention to the changes of the chickens and adjust the temperature in time. If the chickens gather, shudder, shrink their heads, etc., the temperature is too low; if there is panting, frequent drinking, etc., indicating that the temperature is too high.
Second, prevent ammonia accumulation
If the excretion of feces or damp litter from chickens is not removed in time, it will lead to an increase in the concentration of ammonia in the chicken house, causing chicken ammonia poisoning or respiratory diseases.
Third, strengthen feeding management
1. Keep the floor dry. Diligently clean up excrement or replace dunnage.
2. Select loose bedding. Use fresh, dry, soft, absorbent material. When you use it, it is better to lay the mat at one time. Do not add it sporadically. Turn it around so that it does not become stiff or hard and stay soft.
3. Reasonably feed. When the temperature is low, the formulated diet can appropriately raise the standard of metabolic energy in the feed, and at the same time pay attention to the content of vitamins in the diet, and add appropriate vitamins or baking soda to the drinking water and feed to increase the resistance. Do not feed frozen moldy feed.
Fourth, prevent the spread of diseases
Strictly implement the immunization program and do a good job of vaccination. The sheds are sterilized on a regular basis. The empty sheds are best treated with formalin fumigation. High quality non-toxic disinfectants should be used for spray disinfection.
