They found that apomycin δ2 showed excellent antibacterial activity and had good inhibitory activity against the clinically isolated multi-drug resistant MRSA (methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus), and the antibacterial activity against Streptococcus pneumoniae was achieved.
